I recently bought this computer today (Janurary 20th) and I just installed a few programs, and now whenever I put a CD in the Top CD Drive, Nothing happens but lights blinking, It wont run! Help

first you need to contact Compaq if you just bought the system today. first you will need to register it with compaq, then you can phone the free 24/7 hotline for support they will guide you through your problems,

Your computer is under warranty. Simply call the technical support hotline, and you should get good help.
I don't know what brand your computer is, but when I experienced problems with a new DELL dimension, the support people were great - they even stayed on hold while I was doing what they suggested, just to make sure that everything turned out OK.
Most computer manufacturers have good tech support nowadays, the problem is that they are usually in India. Wish we had such capable folks here in the US.
