I am a 15 male and my doctor is going to give me medicine to help my growing, it has estrogen which will raise my testosterone level...........would anyone be able to give me the positive and negative effects of this?

my doctor said a few things but there has to be more

Everyone has both estrogen and testosterone. It's just the balance of them that makes a difference in how we function.

By giving you supplemental estrogen, the doctor is counting on your body to raise your testosterone to compensate, which it will, and that will achieve the growth goal. It works great in most cases.

You may have a little moodiness, since hormones and mood are related, you may gain a pound or two, and you may feel a little tenderness on your chest, where breasts would be if you were a girl. (Guys have breast tissue there, too. One of those weird human body things.)

If you start to grow breasts, it would be time to stop the hormone therapy, but that's about the worst thing that can happen.
