I'm sitting in my living room, in uhhhhh, let me see, what country am I in again! Am I in Saudi Arabia or Cuba or China? The last time I checked I was in the USA, which has something called the Constitution, which has a saying in it.......let me see if I can remember this, um, it's something about the Freedom of Speech in it. Geez Louize! You have GOT to be freekin' kidding me! Apologize and going to couseling for calling someone a name????? This limp wristed, panty-waisted, whiney crowd has got to go! I guess Freedom of Speech only means that certain "groups" get to use it and the rest of us don't. The homo needs to be fired for causing such a ruckas and making a mockery of our Country and Constitution. Get a life, get some thick skin and get out of my face. Mr. Washington should have walked out of that show and studio with his head held high, he called it like it was and no shame, apology or "therapy" is necessary!

I don't think Isaiah Washington is the best actor on the show, but this is the second time he has done this, the first time caused problems between him and Patrick Dempsey (Dr. McDreamy), someone should remind him that there is a certain word that black people do not like to be called. This name calling stuff is childish and he is a grown man. I think he should be fired now, before he does something really stupid.

I mean, T.R. was obviously hurt when he appeared on the Ellen show and in the press room at the Golden Globes, showing he was uncomfortable with the word. I think everybody was just trying to shrug it off but I don't think that Isaiah should be fired because of this because he and Christina (Sandra Oh) has great chemistry on the show and the show will be ruined for me if they replace him. Afterall they both T.R. & Isaiah act and I do mean 'act' like they have great chemistry on the show, watch tonight's show and see what I'm talking about.

I don't think he should be fired. I heard something went on at the awards show and what I heard doesn't make sense to me...don't know why he had to apologize.
It was wrong of him to call T.K. out of his name during the first spat they had. He aplogized and I thought they moved on.
Supposedly someone asked him about the incident and he blurted out that he didn't call him gay. Why is he apologizing for that outburst? Why should he be fired for that?
I think it's silly. But again...I don't have the whole story.
To Dimples...I watched the episode, but it seems T.K. is uncomfortable with Isiah. The scene when he's sitting in the chair talking to him and looks up at him...he quickly looks down...he can't look Isiah in the eyes...so to me it shows...it's not painstakenly obvious...but you can see it.

yes I do, and I'll tell you why.Do I like him on the show yes. but if the tables were turned and instead of calling T.K. a f*g. T.K. called him a n***er everyone would be calling for T.K. to be let go, including myself. we also have to remember that because he called him a f*g the first time he had to go public with a very private matter. and if you had seen the golden globes you would have seen how upset and shocked the producer of the show looked and by the way I'm sure he never publicly called her a Bi**H. this is not a race thing or a rating's thing, its a a right or wrong thing. and it was just wrong..

This is his second time using the offensive word, meaning he shrugged off the uproar he caused using it the last time...said his insincere apology to the public for PR reasons and continued his derogatory views on things...letting it slip this second time showing how he truly feels about things. Its negative publicity that the show doesnt need and I think the American public would find him easily replaceable and forgettable. So Yes.

Sadly - yes...
That stunt he pulled at the awards show was like something a middleschooler does to try sway the rumor mill. It wasn't like everyone didn't know the specifics about what he did for the last month or so, so he wasn't going to convince anyone with his lie...

If Isaiah washington is a good man, he shouldn't be fired. If he is a bad man, he should be fired. It depends if he is good or bad.

I do not think that he should be fired at this point. They should warn him that if he continues to cause drama he will be fired.
