If you want second hand clothes, go to Good Will, or Value Village, or some second hand store like that near you. There you can see and smell the clothes in advance. And you can try them on.
I have never made a satisfactory clothing purchase on eBay. The clothes have never been as described. Either the measurements were wrong, or there were stains, or something else that made them unwearable.
Also, every single clothing seller on eBay will rip you off on shipping. There is some kind of bizarre conspiracy in just the clothing category. Every seller charges an outrageous amount for shipping. I have never seen this in any other category. When you add in shipping charges, you wind up paying the same price you could get something new for.

Ebay clothes are okay. But it's a site known for hackers that take your money and run. Just be aware that some of the clothes are fake.
From my experience, the shipping for some items are many times the actual price for the clothing item! I would personally go hunt for sales at a real store rather than pay 7 dollars for shipping.

Your usually pretty safe buying clothes from ebay if you set up your paypal account! I have bought numerous items of clothing off ebay and only one time have I personally heard of it not being what it was advertised as and that seller was removed by ebay. I have gotten 2 pairs of Ralph Lauren Jeans for super cheap under $15 including shipping and they were exactly as described. Goodwill is awesome too tho. I have found really awesome deals there! Shop clearence sales at the end of this month! I have gotten tons of clothes at Wal-Mart for a $1 & 2 just check the clearences racks often.

It's no different than buying clothes from Goodwill or a consignment shop. I would suggest you buy several items from the same seller so you can save money on shipping. Look for sellers who have been selling clothing for a while and who have great positive feedback. Inspect the clothing once you receive it (as you should with new store-bought items) and yes, wash the items before wearing. I even bought my wedding dress on Ebay and I loved it!

you could always tell your parents if you didn't like them that you could re-sell it. I've never had a problem buying clothes on Ebay. In fact I love it! I get great deals as well. Just try to find cheep things with tags still on it. Tell your parents that most of the clothes there are brand new.

I buy clothes and other things off of ebay all the time. I have yet to be disappointed. You might want to get a few outfits elsewhere because it will take a while to have it shipped to you. Make sure to only pay through paypal because even though we like to think that other people are going to be honest and not rip us off they can and will. Paypal helps prevent that. Good luck.

I have got a lot of great clothing off eBay..my son just got a brand new pair (tags/box/all) of converse shoes for about half what they were running at the mall..... what you want to watch is the feedback of the seller....and make sure they have a good rating...
If your parents concerns has to do with giving credit card information out....a lot of sellers will take money orders..you just have to check their payment option listed on their ads......

Ebay clothes are absolutely fine. They're just from people who wanted to sell their old clothes. Just wash them and you'll be fine. Sometimes the clothes still have tags to.
