Cuba has been THE resort destination for Europeans and Canadians for quite awhile now. The only thing that will happen when the regime changes (and that won't necessarily be when Fidel dies) is that prices will go up.

If he dies, it will be a sad day for Cuba. He is the only one keeping US for taking over Cuba or their American influence. Cuba culture is beautiful and they will loose it. Cuba is so close to Florida, definitely it will be the next destination.

Right now a lot of Canadians and Europeans go. If they build a few more big chain hotels [Westin, Ritz Carlton, Hyatt] on the beachfront, AND they really need to ALLOW AMERICANS TO COME. Our governments don't get along and its such a shame because Cuba is SOOO close to us.

Cuba is a mess and will be a mess for the rest of my lifetime.
Cubans are scared to death of their Secret Police and legally are NOT allowed to talk to a NON CUBAN.
The rest of the world is able to go there today other than the US and the Dominican Republic gets 10x as many tourists and it isn't even a popular spot with Americans although that seems to be changing.
Thumbs DOWN on Cuba although Havana has the nicest architecture of any European City if you can look through the dirt and grime of not even having a coat of paint in 50 years.

With Aruba on the map, who need ex-Fidel land, of-course that depends on when he dies and who come to power after him.
But, No I doubt it. Way too many repressed people.
