People hella judge me because I'm not anorexic thin and I have freckles. Not like a lot of freckles...but cute ones on my cheeks. Ever since I started basketball 4 my high school, more people start talking to me, but some of them still bring me down and bring my confidence down with them. I'm sick of that crap. What should I say 2 people?

That's a tough situation to be in ... and I can empathize with you because there have been times when people jumped on me as well. One guy at work took particular pleasure in trying to make me feel bad about my life and it started to affect my job satisfaction until I just decided today that he couldn't make me feel bad if I didn't give him the power to do it. I just told him I didn't care to hear his BS anymore and anytime he started to say negative stuff I was going to get up and walk away. That stopped him in his tracks ... but yes .. there were a few times I had to "walk away" ... but that is empowering.

You need to make peace with yourself, your life, and your God and then no one can hurt you. Be proud of who you are and what you've accomplished. And the things that you don't like about yourself? Well ... own them and change them or learn to accept them so they don't bother you any longer ... that too is empowering.

I close with a quote and a song lyric that you may find encouraging.

The first is a quote by Medgar Evers, a civil rights activist murdered in the 60s by Byron De La Beckwith.
"When you hate, the only one that suffers is you,
because most of the people you hate don't know it,
and the rest ... don't care."

And the partial song lyrics are pulled from the song "Change Your Mind" by Sister Hazel.

"Hey, Hey
Did you ever think
There might be another way
To just feel better,
Just feel better about today

Oh no-
If you never want to have
To turn and go away
You might feel better,
Might feel better if you stay

Yeah yeah
I bet you haven't heard
A word I've said
Yeah yeah
If you've had enough
Of all your tryin'
Just give up
The state of mind you're in:

If you want to be somebody else,
If you're tired of fighting battles with yourself
If you want to be somebody else
Change your mind...

Hey hey-
Have you ever danced in the rain
Or thanked the sun
Just for shining- just for shining
Or the sea?
Oh no- take it all in
The world's a show
And yeah, you look much better,
Look much better when you glow"

You've got nothing to say to those people. Your confidence need not be based on what some thoughtless, cliche-mongers say. If having freckles and being "not anorexic thin" is the worst thing someone can judge you about, then you're in good shape.

Judgemental people really piss me off... they all just need to stick it where the sun don't shine!! I know that people are always saying "they only tease you because they're insecure with themselves" and it probably just makes you want to roll your eyes, but it is SOOOO unbelievably true. Jealousy is also another HUGE reason that people may make fun of you... they may be jealous of your cute little freckles or of something else you may have that they don't. IGNORE THEM! And I know it's hard, but you really just have to zone the people out that are bringing you down. They need to get over themselves and you need to get over them. Just as long as your proud of your freckles and comfortable with your body, you will be fine! Find friends that appreciate you for who you are. Don't change! We're all on your side here!

That is sooo precise! I recognise relatively a couple of men and women (who I do not rather like any that so much) who pass judgement on others relatively a bit of however the factor is they're sooo fearful of being judged themselves. They simply do not recognize that by means of being so judgmental they are inflicting others to be judgmental of them. Moral of the tale: do not administer the lashings in case you cannot manage simply as many lashings your self!
