I just saw AFI on SNL man are they bad. The lead singer is a total fag into his hair.

Everyone here who said negative things about the band, inluding YOU, know NO sh*t about AFI. And I'm pretty sure about that.
Infact, YOU"RE the poseur here because you talk **** about things you know about, pretending you're smarter than you really are.
Dude, do you know why AFI is famous? It's because they've been making music for FIFTEEN f*cking years! That's a decade and a half! I bet you didn't even know that, and you've probably just heard about them last year when Miss Murder came out. Because you're so much of a poseur that you didn't know underground bands.
They have SEVEN albums and countless EPs. They're not just one of those bands who got into a big label and became famous instantly. They put their EPs out by themselves (until they signed into a little label) and toured tirelessly to build a fanbase. Once they even toured for 3 years straight years.
You can't say they didn't pay their dues. They deserve every success they have now. So don't call them poseurs, if you do then YOU'RE the poseur.
And for you to say they suck and are a bunch of poseurs. Have you ever listened to ALL of their albums? Have you heard anything besides Miss Murder or Love Like Winter? I'm pretty sure the answer there is a big fat NO! So stop talking sh*t about a band you know nothing about. Same with everyone else.
They're older than most bands around and not many people know that (it shows). Do some research kid, and actually listen to their older songs. They used to be an underground hardcore punk band. Very well respected in the bay area.
As for their SNL performance, they sounded really bad because the sound board crashed and they weren't able to fix it. As for Davey's hair, who the f*ck cares? YOU do? hahaha!
How you ever seen them live? Do you own any of their albums? Do you know when they formed? Do you even know their history?
You know NOTHING about them. So why don't you stop embarrassing you're self and shut up.
Stop taking the piss out of things you know nothing about, and spare the humiliation, POSEUR!

Not only do I agree with a_fire_inside_aod. Anyone who spells poseur as POSER is a POSEUR, go look in the dictionary. Aww, are you mad because the rest of Decemberunderground didn't sound like "miss murder". Here's a bit of advice, dont bash AFI, we the fans will CRUSH you.

how can AFI be posers? What other band do they sound like?Name one band from before 1991 that AFI has copied from. u can't can u. it's impossible.

AFI actually rock. However, I understand what you mean. I looked them up, and I saw their pics, and I was quite disappointed to say the least. I haven't heard them live, but I do know their music, and they rock. Let's just but bags over their heads, and just listen to their stuff...

i think of it in basic terms comes right down to peoples own flavor. Like some human beings like Madonna, i do no longer, some human beings like AFI, some do no longer. I di think of they are mind-blowing, yet some human beings do no longer. it relatively is in basic terms as much as wha human beings do and dont like.

LoL I see a lot of negative comments here. I do like some of their stuff, and as far as I'm concerned, Davey Havok is HOT....but you know, that's just my opinion...and I can see why others wouldn't agree =)

True true. They used to be somewhat popular amongst punk fans, they sold out recently making hit songs, and now they are just washed up. They always sucked anyway.

i know you just didn't say that about AFireInside. their better then the bands out there today. their not posers, if you knew, they been out there for 15 years, ***wipe. you know nothing about them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! their great your just jealous of them and you know that for a fact. so stop talking about them, you would know when to stop your poser comments about them!!!!!
