I have to write sentences with these vocab words but I'm not so good at it. Help me, please?

1.) Absolve: set free from an obligation or from consequences of actions
2.) Vindicate: to provide defense for
3.) Abhorrent: causing repugnance; detestable; loathsome
4.) Appalling: Causing consternation or dismay; frightful
5.) Dispicable: deserving to be despised; contemptible

Reading "War and Peace" was abhorrent to the Freshman class.

The public's reaction the Rodney King beating was appalling.

5.) Dispicable:
Daffy Duck told Bugs Bunny that he was dispicable.

6.) Foreboding:
After looking at the weather forecast, I had a foreboding sense that we would get more snow than they predicted.

7.) Lethargic:
He was lathargic until his temperature broke overnight.

8.) Diatribe:
Senator Hillary Rodham-Clinton gave a long diatribe about how she would run for President in 2008.

How about these!!!


1. Mr. Jones called me to his office but after I explained to him what happened I was absolved immediately.

2. There was a rumor spreading about the party. After the truth was told we all felt vindicated.

3. Jeremy and Kyle likes to cause trouble. However, our new principal, Mr. Jones does not allow such abhorrent behavior in our school.

4. The movie, Blair Witch was scary. There were many appalling scenes that made me scream.

5. I do not like yogurt. I think it taste dispicable.

6. I plan to go to college but the thought of actually leaving my parents home is foreboding.

7. After I ran 5 miles today, I soon began to feel lethargic.

8. My father was angry about my grades. After dinner he made diatribe that made me feel bad.

After having a lethargic attitude toward appaling act of eating the abhorrent unclean animals. I did seek to absolve myself of the foreboding sense that to vindicate that dispicable act was useless after conviction of the diatribe of the prophet of God.

omg. do your own homework. this is so easy.

if you go to dictionary.com, they should give you an example sentence for each word.


how are you going to learn the assignment if you dont do your own homework
