How much would you be willing to pay on average for someone to come and clear your driveway of snow. We just received 8 inches where I live.

Depends on the driveway and the person doing the work. If your luckey you might have a neighbor kid (Like me at one time) who is willing to work to earn some extra money. If your luckey and its a single car driveway maybe $25

If you have to hire an adult or a professional landscaper guy maybe $50-$65.

Im in the satellite Television business, and its not so much the labor, but the time required to get to your home to do the Job. You could be talking 2 hours by the time they drive to your home, do the Job and the drive back home.

Sometimes if we are getting just a few inches, I'll go out the night before and put out some salt so the snow melts before it can stick to the concrete.

It will be much cheaper if you go outside and see if there is someone doing your neighbors driveway and you can contract with them right on the spot!

Depends on the width and length. For double drive from the curb to the garage, about 40 feet, I would charge about thirty dollars including the sidewalk in front of and to the house (that's with a medium snow blower and 8" of snow.

That would depend on how long your driveway is and how hard
they worked. When it comes to a "professional job" with a bobcat
or a pickup plow that would depend on how the work was done.
