She did the same thing that several others before her have done.You look around the country for a high visibility,winnable seat and set up a residence there in time to satisfy the local election laws.Then you pretend it was your lifelong dream to represent the fine people of your district.The Kennedys have been doing it for years.

How did Bobby Kennedy become a senator from NY even though he never lived there? I think it is opportunistic. These politicians go to places which will enhance their careers, and these places are quite often not where they come from.
By the way, you mean A senator from NY, not THE senator. There is a senator Charles Schumer from NY. Each state has two senators.

During the last year of Clintons Presidency they bought a house in NY and soon after she decided to run.Lot of people in NY were ticked about that stunt.

She established a residence there before the election. Some made charges of carpetbagging, but alias when Alan Keyes did the same thing against Obama in 2004 the GOP double standard kicked in.

Money is the answer. She had to pick a very liberal state, otherwise she would not be elected.
She is what you would call a power hungry individual. She could care less about anything or anybody. Much like her so-call husband, they are both elitist trying to fill their egos by being in the spotlight at any expense. She is willing to literally kill (Foster, and Brown) anyone to get that power that she is so desperate for. She has your typical inferiority complex.. Maybe she was not the most popular in school or something..
