C webb to the pistons will help them I believe off the bench he can easily put up 15 points a game and 8 rebounds a game. he also provides a secondary inside scorer something that cost the pistons the nba finals in 2005 and the eastern conference finals in 2006.

I think at some point the addition of Chris Webber is going to benefit the Pistons. One thing that made Webber the focal point in the Kings' offense was his ability to distribute the ball. With Richard Hamilton, Chauncey Billups, Tayshawn Prince and Rasheed Wallace on the court that ability to move the ball around will be their key to success as a better offensive team. When they had Ben Wallace, moving the ball through him was damn near impossible because he wasn't an offensive threat down low. i.e. offensive threats draw double teams which allow other players to be open on the perimeter. With Chris Webber and a healthy starting lineup, they can use this to their advantage.

Definitely a benefit. He's getting old, but can still add a lot of help to the Pistons who are missing some good frontcourt players.

It's neither.

C-Webb is no longer a dominant player so don't expect him to change much.

nope, after Big ben left, they needed an intererior force that can dominate which is not c-webb.he cant defend,he can only grab uncontested rebounds and is useless in the clutch.

I don't think Joe D. would have brought him in if he thought he would be a detriment.

Can't hurt, can it? It may decrease a player like Mohammed, though. I can't imagine him signing for the longterm, but you never know.
