actually verizon is rated number one for customer care, and they have the lowest turn over rate of customers to prove it. As far as pricing goes it pretty much the same, Verizon does have the largest network, because the company is not openly traded, the profits are put right back into the company to improve service with building more towers, offering more care and data support, etc. the network is better for its digital signal because it can handle a higher calling rate per signal. Fun facts; you can upgrade every year, you can change your price plan at anytime, there are no sim cards so you data is stored online, and you can always get your contacts and dowloads back, even if the phone is stolen, and always check to see if you can get an employer discount.
Yes they run on the gsm network, which can only take so many calls at a time. meaning when i had a phone with them between 2-7 o'clock i could never get a call to connect the first try because the network could not handle the call load, also vzw has tons of phones to pick from, phones really depend on personal preference. phonescoop.com.

I don't live in the USA but from what I hear, Cingular's the best! You can also do some inquiries of your own to these companies through their customer care. They will definitely help you. Pay attention to what brand and model of cellphone that will suit your needs as a user and make sure there are no strings attached when you finally opt for a particular provider. Good luck!

Well cingular is rated no 1 as far as customer care. Personally, I would look at the plans and the phone I want. Look at the new pocket or cricket phones, if they are near you. The Pocket and Cricket companies has a FLAT $37 a month, NO CONTRACT, unlimited text messaging, caller ID, and some more things. Look into this. I did not get either one because I wanted a PDA phone. Now not counting the phones, the pocket and cricket have the best dollar deal on cell phone minutes. In a year, when my contract is up, hopefully either sprint will lower prices more, or the pocket or cricket will have the PDA.

depending on where you live is right, i don't know much about Verizon but i am a customer care rep for cingular now your new AT&T, we have wide selection of phone, the plan are not the best out there, depending on how u use your phone, theres not a unlimited text plan , and media {web}browsing can add up very quickly in less you get a pkg added to your plan, if you go with cingular allways review your bill rollover min expire after one year, and thing get add to plan that our customer did not request, we will credit for that but u have to notice it and we can only go back three months.
