here is a graph for a Data Interpretation Problem

http://img248.imageshack.us/my.php?image=advertise5sp.jpg

based upon the dataset given in the graph , i have to solve some questions.

but look at the graph , its very difficult to get the EXACT coordinates of points in the graph.

For example, in 2001 ...the expenditure in advertising is above
2.5 in 2001.

whats the values i should really assume at that point ?

should i assume the 2.8 ?
should i assume the 2.75 ?

how do i decide ?

Mr Tg :

my book's assuming 2.8 not 2.7 .....however,you have pointed a good tips for using ruler...

Mr Ike

the question based upon these data set has multipe choice answers and answers are having very small difference .

so i need to choose a best guess data.....if my guess is bad , then i may land up to some other answer whenever the answers are very close.....and this is what i am facing a trouble.

In the above problem ,when i choose i found a answer which is legal.

and when i choose 2.75 i also found a answer which is also legal.

so the true answer depends upon my best guess and thats why i need a tips

If you want to be really accurate you could get out a ruler and measure how far it is, but I usually just go by eye.
For that graph, 2007 is about 2.7

Work the questions with both sets of numbers and choose the best looking answers.
