Paul Heyman quit because he didn't like the way McMahon was ruining the ECW brand that Heyman created. Its just sad to see ECW in this condition for those of us who remember the way it used to be.
As for the new general manager? Unless ECW becomes its own company away from WWE control, it doesn't really matter.

Due to a dispute over ECW's first solo pay-per-view under WWE (December to Dismember 2006) which aired December 3, 2006, the following night WWE Chairman Vince McMahon removed Heyman from his position in ECW, and sent him home from the Raw/ECW taping in South Carolina. Heyman still remains under contract with WWE, his position uncertain. I think that they will have someone from the old Raw is War show like Mr. McMahon's friend Jerry Brisco or someone he can't stand. Or maybe he will give the position to Shane or Stephanie. He could give it to my girl Chyna but I wouldn't bet on it.

I would say teddy long. He would be a good general manager for ecw.

Nobody will be they will just leave it alone and vince will guide ecw to its failure. Vince killed ecw
