Most people say its only for japan

No. Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix hasn't been released even in Japan yet. It won't be available until March 29th. EGM AND 1up have stated that Final Mix will come to the united states while other sources are saying no. I guess we'll just have to wait. Only japan usually gets directors cut as in final fantasy x-2: last mission, the upgrade on FFX and kingdom hearts. The only game I can think of where the directors cut WAS released in the united states was with Star Ocean III: Till the end of Time.
If not...you'll have to import it and it usually costs $60+ and you'll need a PS2 that is region I for Japan.

It is coming to the US. It was announced in EGM in the new issue. It will have KH: Chain of Memories in 3D, and it is supposed to come out next month.

Well. It may have CAME here as a import but it will be in japanese. I am about 98% sure theres no english version.

i dunno but i heard kingdom hearts 2 :final mix is gonna come out in the fall of this year for more info click on on me and then click on my questions and then click on Kingdom Hearts 2:Final Mix?!?!!?!?calling all fans ^_^
