i have got a laptop from my grandma and i said i could fix it but she said no you cant and it seems when i got it i did fix it.so i charge it up rite and i go to pla on the internet and it says cannot find server......What do i do?

Do you either have a network cable plugged in or a cord from a dail up modem? Or, do you have the wireless card working with access to wireless internet?

Does she or you have internet service on the phone line? If so you need to set up internet connection on the laptop just as you would a home pc. Make sure it has internet explorer on it also.

It sounds like you need to sign up with an ISP.
