Pure ignorance.

I think many assume that the hymen has to be broken by sexual intercourse before you can get a tampon in. But that's just silly if you think about it, since most of us have broken it by the age of ten just by playing like normal kids, plus, there has to be an opening for the blood to even get out, right? :)

People who think that are just a product of a different time, before we understood women's health as well as we do now. Unfortunately, they're still passing some of the myths down to their kids and grandkids. Kind of sad, huh?

Have you seen the size of some of them old tampons
before thy come out with all the choices we have now.

I think that back then thy were so big (the tampons) that thy was afraid that we would instill them a bit to far up there.

Back then there was one size not like it is now 1001 different kinds and size's to pick from.

Me i guess I'm still kind of old fashion, and don't believe that a girl under the age of 13 need to use them , but not because it going to make her a non-virgin.
I was babysitting( 2 boys and 1 girl age 11) for a friend she was out of town for a week.
the girl got her period a few days later as her mom side she would.
i ask her if she needed some pad ? and I let her know where I keep them, all was ok for a few days.
On her 3rd day she was in the bathroom , she starts screaming like if some is hearting her, I run in there to find out that she used one of my Ob's string first.
The look on her face was Pericles wan i told her what SHE!! need-it to do to got it out...LMAO
Sorry I was not going in after it.

Mostly from the wrong idea that tampons take virginity. They just can't get it through their heads that it's not true.

I started wearing them when I was a virgin. I know many women who wore them as virgins.

because some people see virginity strickly as if " the hymen is broken" really when you think about it, it is more of a mental thing. Virginity is more of a figure of speach or another way of saying, the first person i gave the gift of bmy body too... People are just nieve and choose to be ignorant.

when i started using tampons at age 12, ppl freaked out. supposedly you could only use them if youve had a baby. lol. bull shitt. and you dont have to have sex before either. a cock is much bigger than a tampon.
