...and the sign says "15 ITEMS OR LESS" do you count how many items all the people in front of you have? If they have more... do you do anything about it?

I did once, the guy ahead of me had about 30 items,I reamed him out, and the rest of the customers joined, I felt sorry for the guy afterwords.

I do count my items. If there is someone in front of me that has a lot more than 15 I do make a comment - tastefully. I did this once when my husband was with me, he wanted to crawl into a hole!! The person in front of me apologized, said that he did not see the sign and went to another check stand. I've noticed that many times the 15 items or less sign is not as visible as it should be and maybe it isn't noticed by customers, so it could be an honest mistake.

not much you can do. sometimes when the store is not very busy, the cashier will call you into the express lane even though you have over the allotted number of items in the cart....

I count but dont care. It's a faster lane. I dont wanna wait on another lane for a long time.

i do look at how many they have but i've never said anything because if they are over, it is usually only 1 or 2 items

No...I don't count how many items and if they had more than 15 I wouldn't say anything.
It takes a lot for me to be upset about things.....I'd just wait my turn....quietly.

when i use it i make sure i have around 15. Although I usually don't use the express lane. have you noticed they stick the slowest people at those registers? it may just be me and my luck

i count what i have... but i usually don't count others stuff unless it's completely obvious that they have more than 15 items... but, i don't usually say anything...
