the soul mate

Maybe rephrase the question, since the soulmate you can't live without, there is no negative. So soulmate would always be the answer.

Did you mean:
"Who to choose: your soulmate that you can't live with, or the best friend you can live with?"

If so, the soulmate is not really your soulmate, it's some twisted sense of self-punishment. A soulmate, to me is someone you can live with, your best friend.

Relationships with to much angst are too much work.

Life is short.

I don't believe in "soulmates"... And there's not a person on this planet I couldn't live without... I would choose the best friend I could live with.

I have questions...are you married to either of these people or are these romantic relationships at all? How do you know one is your soulmate? Does either person know you are trying to make a choice?

Bottom line...maybe you should tell these people how you feel about them (unless they already know). You shouldn't be keeping them in the dark. On the other hand, you shouldn't be leading them on either. If you are an adult, you need to make an adult decision.

A soulmate is great, but why isn't your soulmate also your best friend? On the other hand, why isn't your best friend your soulmate?

Make a decision. Not for yourself, but for them. It isn't fair to them.

Always choose the soulmate you can't live without. How can you choose the other person if you "can't live without" your soulmate. You'll always think about that other person and regret it if you choose your friend. Good luck.

I need more info. Neither of them should put you in the middle where you have to choose. If he is a true soulmate and she is a true friend then there is no choice.

i'm guessing this is a romantic thing. i've been in a similar situation. you should be with the person that makes you feel loved and wanted, that would put you before all others and wants to be with just you and would love you completely. the person that you trust most, the person that you feel you can say anythiing to. the person that smiles just because you are there, the person that you feel would never hurt you or lie to you. that is the person that you will be happiest with. surely both people can't be all ((or most)) of these things. the answer is in your heart, your mind just doesnt know it yet. good luck!! :)

eventually things might change with someone u couldn't live without, when the honeymoon stage ends and the real life relationship begins, and your going to need someone who u are friends with rather than the one u can't live without.
