I'm just starting to read it. I know it's been about 14 years since it was published, best seller and everything. Is it accurate even when all those years have passed? If you have read it, do you agree with it?

it's just a slant on the relationships of men and women. it has an entertainment and even an educational viewpoint, but does not in my opinion offer any proof that this is how the sexes differ and relate to each other.
to say that men mainly possess the qualities associated with the manly god of war (mars), and women with those of the goddess of love, is a little far fetched. i've seen the attributed qualities of each in both sexes.
enjoy the read and take what you can use from it and forget about the rest.

I've never read it, but studies show that men and women's thought processing is different. Different parts of the brain are used. In addition, men and women usually have different goals in the same situation. I think it's safe to say men still have the hunter mentality, while women still have the nester mentality, which motivates each.
