Sorry you are in pain :(

Sometimes when you have back pain and vaginal area pain it indicates the baby is in the 'posterior' position and is putting a LOT of pressure on the places you are feeling pain.

Seeing that you are 36 wks...your body may be starting the labor process! How exciting!

If the pain is really bad, I do think you should at least call your doctors office and tell them what is happening.

Good luck..hope you are comfortable soon.

My pelvic/vaginal pain was so bad at the end of the day that I would cry sometimes, and I couldn't roll over in bed unless I locked my legs together and flipped quickly. Thankfully as soon as I gave birth it went away immediately, it was just the way the baby was positioned.

Is the pains like sharp pains shooting down? If so it's probably just the pressure of the baby lowering maybe...? I had that with mine and I constantly had bad backache of course. It sounds pretty normal but I would still talk to your doctor to be sure. Good Luck!

It could be normal but it's always better to ask you OBGYN. It can mean one or two things. One is that you baby dropped in to the birth canal,or You could be starting to dialate? With at 36 weeks is not a great thing. But girls are stonger then boys. Good luck and i hope the best of for you and your baby.

If the pains are irregular, they are very likely Braxton-Hicks contractions, that are sort of the uterus' way of "tuning up" for labor. If the pains are regular, on the other hand, it's the beginnings of labor; if they get to the point of being five minutes apart, get to the hospital. If you live far away, leave ASAP. Good luck!

You could be going into labor, or maybe false labor. I would go see the doctor anyway just to make sure. Who knows, your baby might be ready to be born. Of course, it could just be a cramp or a pain in your back that is getting you ready for labor, but I still would definately go see your doctor.
