Will gigabyte release a bios update for Pentium D boards to Core 2 DUo?

I have the GA-8N-SLI Pro Gigabyte board can someone let me know.

On a lot of Pentium D boards it is not just a matter of the BIOS, they are missing a voltage regulator necessary to run the Core 2 Duos, and you can't update that.
