I saw it on late HBO in the mid-90's. It was about a group of school children (I think) who were kidnapped or taken hostage or something in a cave by masked men. I'm pretty sure it took place in Australia, and the kidnappers wore makes of former presidents (but I could be wrong on that).

It was a horror film, that much I'm sure. They escaped the cave or whatever that was only to run to a house where the kidnappers chased them down and murdered the family at the house. The group of kids was lead by their female teacher.

Any help would be awesome. Thanks.

I THINK the movie you are writing about is based on the Faraday Kiddnappings of the early 1970's ( with the exception of the murder of a family ... )

this is a movie that fits your description :

It's called 'Fortress' and a very good movie! :-)
It was a made-for-tv movie that came out in 1986 with Rachael Ward. It says it was only released in Australia but I DID see it in America on cable. Several times! I pretty sure you can rent it too. Or at least years ago.
