I recently received a PDA (Palm) and I really hope to be watching videos on it soon. Any suggestions/ recommendations on video players for Pocket PCs? I've looked through a couple but I have no idea which I should download. I hope you guys can help me based on your own experiences with them :)

By far and away, the best video player i have seen for PPCs is called TCPMP (http://www.tcpmp.corecodec.org/download ) in conjunction with Pocket Video Encoder (http://divx.ppccool.com/ ). Both are freeware. Nearly no dropped frames which is almost un-heard of on PPCs (as you've probably notice Windows Media Player is useless for video!).

I second the TCPMP comment, either TCPMP for Palm or TCPMP for Windows Mobile are great. TCPMPs are widely used as a basis for other players too, due to its efficiency most desktop movies encoded in MP4 codecs are playable in PDAs with a medium-high performance range.

so far the best I used is TCPMP. (or call core player)
however, never image that to watch videos like you do on your PC since the restrcition of poor CPU and memory, If you want to get videos(like utube video) to be watched on your palm, just use your palm to surf http://WirelessSG.mobi, under video choose MyMobileClip , there are many videos for Mobile users.

initially, dont use homestead windows media participant. There are a protracted way too many exploits available which could attack your field via WMP. i for my section like winamp, or VLC. in any case, transferring would not have replaced this. it ought to be that the action picture remains loading once you're clicking play. attempt installation VLC, and whilst you're utilising Firefox installation its plugin. additionally, it ought to be a codec project. attempt commencing a record you need to view until eventually now you began having this project; if it truly works then its the record on the internet website no longer your workstation.
