He came from the Middle East so he probably is related to Osama.

The best part is that his middle name is Hussein. Look it up, this is not an attempt at humor. It really is his middle name.
If he became president here would be the most ironic part:
In 2000, if someone had told you, that just 4 years later in 2004, someone named Bush would be in charge if Iraq and that in 2008, someone with the name Hussein would be elected Preisdent of the United States.......You would have laughed and called them nuts.
He seems like a real political player though so I don't think the people of Illinois see him as mean looking.

oh you are talking about the man that promised he would not run for any other office even when asked about the Governor or presidency, He replayed no that if elected to the house he would serve his term and his constituents. But here we are, another liar for a politician, and he actually believes that it's ok, because he changed his mind. His word means nothing less then dirt. I am voting republican this time, I am so tired of the demo's putting up people who are such losers. At least the Republicans try and correct problems with in there party.

His current level of media exposure is postulated to be an effort by those in Hillary's camp to provide her with an opponent to overcome, although some believe he will be her running mate.
In any case, he's obviously a bit shy on experience to be seriously considered as a presidential candidate (or vice presidential for that matter).
As for his place of birth, I think it may be Hawaii.
P.S. If you are just lookin' to stir the pot, a better choice of names to pick on might be his middle name.
..or you could just talk about his ears.
One will be about as productive as the other.

I had not really heard a lot of him till this election talk began...as for some of your answers I am trying to read your question over and over to see where they got the "race" issue out of it...if anything you think maybe asian or muslim?
I get so tired of all the "race" or "man/woman" issues here....why not get to the real problems this country faces about security, tax issues, health care......my God its scary to think people will actually go vote for someone just on race or sex......

Oh grow up about the name already. Sheesh.
He was first noticed when he gave the keynote speech at the Democratic convention in 2004, so it can't be really be defined as "all of a sudden."

He reminds everyone of a black "Bill Clinton". Just what we need, another Clinton-wannabee.
(Oh, and Hillary is officially running as of today. Yippee...)
