Truck will get breaks when you stop for food, gas, bathroom breaks.
You yourself won't last 36hrs. Nothing over 12 hours really should be driven at any given time as the human body and mind cannot handle much more.
You'll be stiff, sore, locked back, achy legs, your eyes will burn and it will be hard to focus at times. This is how accidents happen.
I use to live on the coast and bout once a month I would go back to where I grew up, 12.5 hours away. Beat me down every time I did it straight through. The next day or 2 I was worthless.

Assuming it's in good condition, the truck won't care, except for a few stops to refuel. The human body is much different though. Unless you have multiple drivers' willing to take shifts and those drivers can get a proper sleep between shifts, it is far better to stop at least once or twice for proper rest period and being able to stretch properly ( and for a longer period of time that it takes to refill the tank ).

Take rests, your body will thank you for it. Drove 20 hours and did 2 power naps, one way. And hadn't slept 22 hours going the other. Was hurting after that one.

You can take stops...your truck will not need it, unless you are pushing the pedal to the floor constantly. If you obey the speed limits, your truck can outlast you. You will need the sleep and the breaks!

mechanically, yah, it shouldnt be a problem. GM runs them alot longer and harder than that when they test them. but physically, take some breaks, or have somebody else take over driving for a little while if possible.

Totally ok as long as your wallet can handle it at the gas pumps and you get some kind of rest yourself.
