I've heard rumors at school. Are they true?

I'm not talking about Vice City or San Andreas, I mean a another one after that.

Yes, there will be. It's been in production for some time now and is actually due out October 16, 2007. It will be for PS3 and Xbox 360 at first with, if they follow their pattern, a PC release about a year later. Though the PC release is not official it is what they've done with GTA III, GTA: Vice City and GTA: San Andreas.
Almost nothing is known about the game at this point other than it will have episodic content (i.e. downloadable missions). It's unknown where the game is set, though there's lots of speculation that it may be somewhere other than the U.S. Others think it may be set in the fictional Carcer City because it's been mentioned so often in the various games but never seen before.

FYI: GTA 3 Includes Liberty City, Vice City, and San Andreas, since they all run off of the same graphics engine. GTA 4 Is using a new engine and Rockstar projects 3 volumes from that as well. Well. There is going to be another GTA thats for sure. I know because the news of GTA being lost as a exclusive for the PS3 has been out for a while. Even though the other ones have came out for Xbox after a while, this one will come for the 360 and the PS3 at the same time. I'm not sure if theres much details going around about it but I'm sure plenty of rumors.

Rockstar Games launched many titles under GTA series after GTA 3 which i think you are aware of. List of titles after GTA 3 released by Rockstar under GTA series -
1. GTA : Vice City
2. GTA : Liberty City Stories
3. GTA : Vice City Stories
4. GTA : San Andreas [The Best].
GTA 4 will be rolled out on October 16th 2007. It will be released for PS3, XBox Live and 360 and PS platform as the news says. GTA 4 is confirmed by Rockstar and the release date is also finalised.

Yes, there will be a GTA 4. If there isn't one, then Peter Moore from MS is going to look pretty damn stupid with his fake tattoo showing GTA IV.

There will be a GTA IV. Its going to be on PS3, and Xbox 360. Not much info on it. But there is doubt in my mind it will still be released this october. No screens, or even info on the where it will be at.

Technically there was alread a fourth one, it was GTA: Vice City.
But, they are making a GTA 4, it's not a question of whether there will be one, but when.
