Sway was originally a 1950s Latin song written by a man named Pablo Beltran Ruiz. English lyrics were written by Norman Gimbel, and the song was originally recorded (in English) by Dean Martin, not Frank Sinatra.

***Bic Runga does have a song entitled Sway, but it is not the same song that was covered by Michael Buble.

"Sway" is the English version of "Quien Sera", a 1953 Latin pop song with a mambo beat written by Mexican composer and bandleader Pablo Beltrán Ruiz. In 1954 the English lyrics were written by Norman Gimbel and recorded by Dean Martin (this recording reached #6 on the UK chart). Since then the song has been recorded and remixed by many artists including The Pussycat Dolls (see discography below).
