sounds to me like your period will be starting soon. have some pads available and keep always one in your backpack or purse just to be safe.

good luck!! :D

Could be that you are about to get it, so you might want to get some pads ready just in case. If the pain changes or doesn't go away in the next week or so, you should talk to your mom about going to the doctor.

My period causes me to have pain in my lower abdomen and lower back, starting the day before and lasting the first two or three days of my period. I also get very fatigued and nauseous the first day of my period, and tend to end up missing school/work/whatever because I spend the day in my bed with a hot water bottle on my stomach. When I was young they weren't too bad, the pain got worse as I grew older. Of course, this is JUST MY EXPERIENCE, lots of women don't get any cramps whatsoever.

Could be

Usually the day before I get my period, my lower abdomen will start to feel a little funky.
Natures way of warning you to prevent leaks!

Try not to think about it too much, seems like the more you think about something the more apparent it becomes in your mind, when it's not even that big to start with.
If the pain gets severe and doesn't go away in a week or so, I'd go to your doctor.

Might just be that you haven't pooped in awhile!

I knew I was getting my first period when I started seeing discharge in my panties, just a clear or sometimes whitish liquid. Also a lil bit of cramping pain in my lower back and belly. Not everyone has pain tho. Another reason you could have pain may be that you're constipated and need to go poo. If its really bothering you tho I say tell your mom so you can go to a Dr. and get checked out. It could be something else. Goodluck honey

Wait a while and see if you have any discharge. They only thing that hurts about periods are the cramps. If you still have this pain for a week and still no discharge (anything unusual in your underwear) go to a gynecologist.
