I have a couple of catfish in with my turtle. But first, you should consider the room. Is there enough room in his tank to support something else. Turtles are basically happy on their own. If you should get another turtle make sure there is plenty of room and get one similar in size or they could fight.

Fish aren't great for them, as turtles eat fish and can seriously injure them if they don't eat them. Map turtles can go well, and yellow bellied sliders, I even know someone who had a soft-shell in with a slider but I dont know how safe that is. Good luck and make sure the one you get is about the same size as yours, and watch for fighting!
