Usually degree from Deemed Universities are valid.Coz the Deemed University will work very hard to have all the sin qua non of a recognized unversity in India by the UGC. Very rarely a few deemed unversities are negligent and take things for granted and are over confident about the influences that the Managing Committee member/or members of the Deemed one will be having with the top level officials in the Department of Education and in the UGC. Hence we can hope that the University will certainly get a Recognized Status.
For Government Jobs a recognized university degree is better than a deemed one's Degree.
For many industries a Deemed University Degree will suffice provided the candidate has skills and experience sufficient for the relevant post.

Valid for what? Valid you went there? Valid you can teach?? Little more why would be good.
