first remedy is a very hot shower to soothe the muscles. another remedy for a muscular back ache is to place a tennis ball between your back and a wall to give yourself a massage.slowly move up and down from the knees or sway back and forth.

If you have a sore back , a good soak in the tub is good . Turn off the cell phone , take the other phone off the hook. And relax . Sitting Up straight & lying down are both good for your back . If you are experiencing constant or chronic pain with your sore back . You should see a chiropractor . Talk to some people you trust to suggest one in your area . Please no quacks.

lay on a hard surface, like the floor. lying on a soft bed or couch often makes back pain worse.
the best thing that i have found to do is to lay down on the floor on my back with my knees bent and up. it straightens the back out. also, if it's muscular try putting a heating pad on your back for 20 mins a few times a day. hope you feel better!

I try to lay flat when my back hurts me. If it is hurting really bad I take a hot bath and then use my heating pad. The chiropractor recommended using an ice pack first then heat, but I hate cold so I stick to my heating pad.

Lay down on top of a nice heating pad. That always helps me out. I hope you feel better.
Also, try some basic yoga stretches. It really will make a world of difference.

Actually muscle relaxants help until you can get to a chiropractor. Baths can help. I stretch and do back exercises. Look some up on the net. It could help. But please don't sue me if all my advice is bad...and you get even more crumpled.

Flat on back, on firm mattress or pad on floor, with pillow(s) under your knees and with a neck pillow.
