If you don't have a professional take care of this situation, you and whoever else lives with you will pay for it even more health wise. You have a continuing moisture problem somewhere in your house that perpetuates this problem and is probably causes serious structural damage to the house as well. Putting it off or masking it will not make it go away. Call and get some free cost estimates. There are many professional mold removal companies out there. Good luck.

If you can, spray around the area with bleach water. Mold can be very hazardous to your health, so, if you can afford it and can't take care of the problem yourself, call in a professional. After we moved in here, we found out it was in a flood zone. I go to the basement and take a spray bottle of bleach water and spray everywhere, but make sure it is not too strong. As far as airborne vitamins helping, I called a pharmacist about them a month ago to see if they would help. He told me that they were basically vitamins and herbs, so I would NOT rely on them at all to help with breathing in the mold. Also, you may develop an allergy to mold. See about getting tested for such an allergy. There is also a very inexpensive little thing that will tell you what your humidity level is. I paid about $1 for one on sale, or, you can get a thermostat that will tell you the humidity. You want to take as much moisture out of the air as possible. If you have a basement, make sure you have a sump pump. Keep the heat down. Ventilate and if that doesn't work, get a dehumidifier to take the moisture out of the air. Good luck

Mold (especially black mold) is harmful to your health and can cause nose bleeds, dizziness and breathing difficulties if you have asthma. Spray dilluted bleach on the mold to kill it and use a wet cloth to wipe away the spores. Do not spray bleach on your air vents though because it will do more harm than good because you will be breathing it in. Its probably inside your air ducts so I suggest hiring a company who specializes in mold removal to come in and clean them. You can also buy a mold test kit at Home Depot to see what kinds of mold you have and how bad it is. Try to fix the problem ASAP.

If it's coming back, you didn't kill it at it's source. Could be something underneath that needs your attention.
