Possibly. From a young age we learn to ostricize others that are generally not like the rest of us. If you understand why a person is different than the rest of us, it may or may not bring us closer to them. I guess it just depends on what it is exactly that's making them different.

If i dont like it... i dont buy it!! sometimes agreeing to disagree is the only way to resolve a problem. People draw from other peoples emotions. Some people hate food that they have never tasted. Society has made hatred a household name. instead of just disliking something we hate it. Earning trust is not as common as we all think. so many people think that we are so intune with our surroundings that we trust everyone cause they say they care or because of the title they hold. ie.. sisters, brothers, bestfriends, employers. They will slit your throat to save their own almost everytime. In some retrospect they should, u cant expect for them to jump in front of a bullet. But being as though we live in a world full of critics, there may never be understanding, because everyone wants thier way to be right.
so , i guess to answer your question, no. Avoid all drama, at all costs!

Yes it could work , humans tend to hate what they don't know- or understand . Sometimes it could be fear that turns into hate as a defense mechanism. I think if people were brave enough to get to know people they would not be so much violence in the world

That is a really good theory, and true in many cases. I think that if we took the time to realize that we are all the same in many ways, that we all want to be loved and appreciated and respected and valued, that we would get along better. I know that this must work in some cases, but it is probably rare.

Yes, I believe that if we strive to understand or at least accept the differences in others there will be far less fear based hatred.

Yep. It miraculously does. I thought I had a bitter enemy class-mate, but when we came to work together on a project and I got to know her better, magically we became friends. And today, we are the best of friends!! :-)

No...we question what we do not understand. We dislike what we interpret to be counter to our beliefs.
