I'm very curious to hear other opinions on this matter. Honestly, I would elect "Does god exist?" as the most important question, as answering such question can answer other questions such as "Life after death?" or "How did the universe come to be?" Runner up would be "Peace on Earth?" as I'm very intrigued if such a goal is possible with our current state of war. So, what is your slice on the Most Important Question of All Time?

well, i think u'd better never categorize and limit man's curosity in one packed question.
perhaps the most important issue is related to identity whatever man asks is a reaction to himself and his environment. As a result a number of questions appear. who am i? where am i? why am i here? where is here? the fact that our mind is full of complex and strange and revived knowledge which is assumed to be true( perhaps first time someone says i am a prophet everyone laughed at him, perhaps later he became legendary perhaps myth is taking new forms which we really believe them to be true and somehow one needs to defamiliarze and deonstruct our brain totally. perhaps i am wrong!!!).
Thus the already intricate fundemental questions become further complicated like so long there have been so many prophets (is it manmade? is it not? is it true is it a false notion??? remember i bring it here just as an example not meaning i repudiate or question prophets but everything )according to man's accumulated knowledge which we already are familiarized even if one says there is no such thing.. it is a part of man's at least man made knowldege. anyway in my opnion man as a subject can never reach to a clearcut knowledge about himself as an object...
then why to bother??? enjoy the beauty of life. i beleive there is happiness so long as i live in the world
i also should add that man asks questions which reflect his universal nature: fear immorality, need for love, mercy, anger, depression and all the primary fundemental basis of our behaviour so many questions that pinpoint any of these universal feelings might be the questions of all times ....

Belief me. You'll gonna find the truth and actual answer in Islam. I'm not force you to do so but It's just a suggestion. Believe there is only a god exist who ruled the whole universe and a messenger long time before our existence to give "Jahilun" the losted peoples back to their actual life path

I would agree with life after death, because there is no way of knowing, beacause once you die, you can't tell anyone whats going on. What if it's cool? What if it sucks? What if its nothing?....which i personally refuse to believe.
The peace on earth question interested me alot too... perhaps there will be, but not for a great while, I Know that.

This question is the mother of all, for we can't be happy unless we can have a comvincing idea about the truth behind the Creation and the Creator and the purpose of it all.

We ourselves are the question, AND the answer - but we don"t realize this.

What do you want to acheive in life? I know it sounds corny, but people should know what they want. What is the point in living if you will accept anything. I like the Life after death question as well. A very,very, very, very, very, very, very, very, tough question is how many licks does it take to get to the center of a totsie roll pop!
