I got this burned data CD from my friend, and it's full of .cab, EX_ files. It's suppose to contain videos, am I suppose to extract the .cab files to open it? how do I do that? I tried to use msconfig.exe -> expand file, and I don't think that worked. I'm gonna list the file names here..so there are..

Please help! i've been trying to figure this out for so long, and NOTHING has worked! My laptop's VAIO window XP professional..just incase it matters.

can't ask the friend, because she bought it somewhere, and she has no idea. Winrar doesn't work, I've tried that.

from the list all i can suggest is trying to run the _ISDEL.EXE file. it looks like the only one that is not compressed. another thing you SHOULD be able to do is right click on the .cab files and open with explorer. it should show you whats in them, then you should be able to extract them.

It's most likely supposed to have a setup.exe or install.exe file as well. If not, try to open up the cab files using WinRAR. If that doesn't work, ask your friend again, because your list of files look like common files needed in an installation, which is normally started by a setup.exe or install.exe.

It appears to be a collection of yet-to-be installed program file; ask your friend if he burnt correctly, a setup program suppose to be there but I don't see it.
