I used to use Clearasil soap, and it was great; but they changed the formula to include moisturizers which are counter-productive. It's not very good anymore. Now, I use Dial AntiBacterial Soap. It does a good job minimizing my oily nose. I make sure to use it every morning and evening. Whatever the antibacterial agent is, does a pretty good job. Not great, but pretty good.

Firstly you need to know that problem skin, including blackheads has nothing at all to do with hygiene. The cleanest person in the world could have terrible acne.
Blackheads occur when the thin layer of oil on the surface of the skin fills pores, becomes exposed to the air and oxidizes. You need to start regular exfoliation to get try and avoid the pores getting clogged with oil in the first place. Try a gentle scrub and work in small circular motions. Also you should do a weekly mask to draw out any impurities. The skincare brand Witch is ideal; try the Exfoliating Face Mask, $12.95 and the Brand New You Face Masque, $12.95
Also available in the range is Witch Clear Pore Strips, $12.95, so give those a try too.
I would recommend Clean & Clear® Blackhead Clearing Cleanser and Blackhead Clearing Toner. The Cleanser has a unique blend of gentle beads that gently exfoliate the skins surface, breaking down blackheads. Next, a special cleansing ingredient is deposited in the skin, working deep down to clear pores to help fight blackheads.

I completely understand! My bad skin condition has improved greatly since I switched from "regular" make up to mineral makeup! I was shocked...I saw improvement within 3 days!! It is awesome!
I use Larenim...found it at at health food store but they have a website....www.larenim.com. You can purchase "sample" sizes so that you can find what you like best without making a major investment. I highly recommend the Dusk tl Dawn skin treatment (found in the "Concealers" section) and the pressed mineral foundation.
If you have any guy friends with this acne issues they will like the Dusk til Dawn product too. It's a powder you put on overnight so no one even needs to know that it is being used! How cool is that???
Of course, you'll need to find what works best for you and there are lots of companies that make mineral makeups.
As for treating the issues you have now until you can do some research, get the Biore strips. They are pretty good. When you wash your face, use a cleanser like Biore instead of soap but don't scrub. That can irritate and make things worse!
Remember to stay away from fried foods and foods with a high fat content (chips, snack cakes, etc.). Check the nutrition label and if a food has 30% or more fat don't eat it. Eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and grill, bake or broil any meats.
Your skin is your largest organ so you have to take care of it.
Good Luck!

hahah that first guy kills me. i think he probably read BACK and HEAD hahaha what a dummy. okay what you should do is fill your sink with steaming hot water put a towel over your head to trap the steam in the sink and let your face absorb all the soothing steam. This will open your pores after that you can try st ives exfoliating apricot srub which works really well for me. or you can try biore cleansing strips which works well for a lot of my friends. good luck
