MCR and the Killers surprised me when I had been stuck in Grunge/Green Day land for along time.
Try a completely different genre. You might surprise yourself. My collection contains just about every thing except Blue Grass (I just can't get there without laughing, my grand pa used to do a crazy Grandpa Jones impression)
however, Green Day still rules!!!!!!!

Well, I don't know what kind of music you're into, so I don't really know what to suggest. But I can recommend Pandora.com. Pandora is a branch of the Music Genome Project, and has a database of (I think) millions of songs from nearly all genres. It acts like your own personalized radio: You type in a song or artist name, and it will stream songs from its database that are similar. You can even create different stations. It's pretty cool, and a great way to find out about more music you'd probably be interested in. Good luck!

Have you heard of "Alanis Morissette?" She has great talent and I like her live performances. Especially on her "MTV unplugged" concert. If you don't mind country music "Black Hawk" is near the greatest country band ever. I've listed a website for you: Check it out, hope I helped.

Go download Baba O'Riley by the Who.
It's 5 minutes long. You want to hear this with your headphones on, set to about 80% volume. It will crank.
Feel free to air piano and air drum. I do.
