I still haven't got my print screen button to work. I'm trying to use print screen to paste the screen shot in paint, but it still isn't working. Please help! Thanks.

I know how to paste in paint, but my prnt scrn will not do it. This is my first laptop so I don't know if I'm supposed to press something else (tried both ctrl and shift, won't work) or it's simply not working. Thanks.

Isn't it supposed to be CTRL + Prt Scr?

Pressing the "Prt Scrn" or "Print Screen" button on your computer will do a screen capture, or basically _copy_ what your monitor was displaying when the button was pressed. Pressing it a second time will just replace it with a new screen capture. To dump the image to another program, you'll need to Paste it. In this specific instance, do your screen capture, then pull up the Paint program, and then hit CTRL-V to paste the image into Paint.

Do you have any warranty left on the laptop? If so, contact your support people either by phone or email. They can help. By the way, nothing happens when I press my "Print Screen" button on my Delll Inspiron lapton either.
