hi whats up? im getting a new computer and need to get my songs fromitunes to that computer and don't know how to do it.


p.s, some of the songs are from the internet

I know that if you're going from a Mac to another Mac, you can boot in target disk mode. I imagine there's something similar in the PC world as well.

To start in target disk mode, connect the two computers with a firewire cable. Boot the new computer. Boot the old computer, holding down the t key. The firewire symbol will appear on the old computer's desktop and the old computer's hard drive will mount on the new computer. Transfer your files and you're good to go.

When i got my new computer, I just got an external hard drive and used it to transfer everything.

Put them on disc in mp3 format you can get more that way then re load them on the new pc
