cause men dont like confrontation........if he tells u he is not happy with whatever, u will probably yell and prove how its not true.....they hate it..
i know when my dh says something he doesnt like i sometimes become defensive and he says " see thats why i dont tell u what i feel" something im working on now
but whatever u think is the problem u should confront him and just listen

I actually do this with my boyfriend. Alot of the times I may not know exactly what is wrong, or even if I do I just don't tell him. Sometimes I guess I just don't want to burden him with it. Other times I would rather just try and ignore or forget it than deal with it as well.
But it hurts him because he cares and he knows that something is wrong, and he doesnt like that I dont tell him. But I can't help it. I am trying to work with it and him do better though.

AS a Woman we know in our hearts that when we say Nothing is wrong, you best believe something is wrong. At that point we are still deciding just how guilty you are, before we lay in to you big time, so be prepared its coming. Your husband obviously has something on his mind and is not ready to share it with you. It may be nothing more than work, but its bugging him. Lets just hope its work...Get my drift

My husband does that to me when he's angry, or when he doesn't know what exactly is wrong. Either way, it's not healthy. I usually end up getting it out of him and it causes a big fight though.
I think you should give him some space, but not too much. Be prepared to likely fight about something once it comes out, he's keeping it in for a reason.

Because he is in his cave!! I highly recommend you read Women are from Mars, Men are from Venus. by John Gray. He will tell you all about it AFTER he has solved the problem!! It's a man thing - they really are from another planet sometimes. Just carry on as though nothing is wrong and talk to your girlfriends. If you push too hard he will pull further away. Just make sure you are open to talk to when, and if, he is ready.

Us men can't talk about things very easily. You need to press him and he will relent. I am the same way with my girlfriend. She can tell when something is wrong, but I don't want to talk about it because I don't want a fight. And I don't want to be a whiner.
Just look him straight in the eye and tell him you know something is wrong and it won't help to not discuss it. Reassure him that he can tell you anything and you won't get mad. And then don't let him off the hook.

that could be many reasons*
a) he doesn't want to worry you or make you mad
b) he could be guilty bout something so doesn't know how to tell you
c) he could possibly not even know himself if something is wrong or not
d) he could be depressed
or
e) maybe , nothing...is wrong at all.
Tell him you feel something is wrong (as you stated "clearly" there is something wrong) and from his actions or lack of communication with you...you know somethings not right and you want him to talk to you about it as Communication is the key to a long and healthy /happy marriage*
GoodLuck*

shoe is on the other foot, isn't it? we women are the ones who usually tell the men "Nothing is wrong," when clearly, something is wrong!
you are a woman and you should be able to read his mind--they cannot read our's.

Men often need to work things out on their own before they share details of a problem.
MY husband does anyways.

It's a pride thing! Just like most guys don't like to cry infront of women. He'll eventually let it out, just don't push him or else you'll never find out what is really wrong!
