She would need to get through all the republicans trying to trash her like they have been doing since Bill was president. They have been working to prevent this from becoming a reality all along. It hasn't worked so far, so,I believe she has a shot.

No.

She has too much against her.

1. She is a Senator. As you've already seen, every vote will be used against her. That's why Senators don't win POTUS elections unless they are running against another Senator. The last sitting Senator to win the POTUS election was in Kennedy in 1960.

2. She is hated by half of the Dems. The Clintons had a nasty habit of destroying people around them, and those memories are very long. Her negative poll numbers among Dems are almost as bad as among the GOP types.

3. She has the ability to change positions on issues, but without the slickness and charm of her hubby. This makes her a Jimmy Carter.

4. She has significant baggage from Whitewater, Rose Law Firm, Cattle Futures, White House Travel Office, FBI files, failed health care legislation.... the list goes on. How many times do you think the GOP will replay her saying, under oath, "I don't recall... I don't remember..."??

5. Wait until the GOP plays the recording of Hillary's college commencement address... whoooaaaa!!!!

In other words, the GOP would love to see her run. And, the Dem movers and shakers realize that.

It's more than obvious that she's up for running. She is in the running, as became official today. She is not her husband. I will vote for her, and I want her to win. Of course she has a shot, and a good one at that. Bill Clinton was one of the finest presidents we ever had, and I would hope that she would take his council on some issues, but I trust her as her own self, with or without her husband.

I honestly think that it will be very hard for her to win. If she is nominated by the democratic party then I believe you can pretty much guarantee that there will be another republican in the white house. She is just too polarizing and unlikable to a HUGE number of Americans.

no, not a prayer, but she does have what the demo party needs some power and money. The party knows she can't win the primary. But it makes them look good, if they want a women to run they should put one up that can win.

She does have a shot, but she is going to have to put more into the campaign than what she has already. Quite honestly to me she has not really acted like she wants the job. She will have to prove a lot to America. I believe that she can handle the job. But, Obama is not going down without a fight.

There is no way I would vote for her. If she wins I'm moving to Canada.
