A huge, eXtreme, super awesome slingshot combined with a parachute for the long way down.

If we're just talking about a medium-sized building (a house for example), then I'd probably use mats instead of a parachute because of concerns about the parachute not opening on time.

I could do it with my eyes closed, it would be a tiny toy building, about the size of a roach motel. (You never said how big of a building.) Maybe even an underground buiding.
