I put foundation on, eyeshadow and mascara
it looks fine in the mirror but when i go out to restaurants my brother makes a comment that my face is realllly red. should i be worried because i go home and check in the mirror but only my cheeks are rather rosy. do you think im overreacting ? it might just be the soup is hot !

yea youre overreacting. brothers are weird and hes just trying to
bring you down. my advice is to put FACE lotion on your face
at night. oh and make sure u take all of you makeup off. if youre
just using foundation and not blush then thats prolly why your
face is look red. its winter and the cold from outside could be
chapping your face [well idk where u live tho, but its cold here`!]

You should look natural, like you don't have makeup on (or very little). Consider using a tinted moisturizer instead of a heavy foundation to make your look less obvious. Also if your cheeks are red all the time, consider seeing a dermatologist. That might be a skin condition that make up only makes worse.

hmm, well first, id check if your foundation is the right color for you. to do this, check the color of your neck and see if it matches with your face with the foundation on.
or maybe the lighting where u do ur makeup isnt the greatest light.
orrr... maybe ur brothers just being an idiot and ur face is fine. ask ur friends/ parents/ whoever if ur face looks okay. ull be glad in the long run. and if ur face iss extra red, then asking someone NOW would save u from major embarrassment in the future, when u say "why didnt anybody tell me anything?"

That's not much at all. As long as you don't pack on the foundation I think your brother is just being a retard. I wear a light layer of foundation on my nose and forehead, eye shadow, mascara and eye liner. Keep the colors close and not over powering. Don't worry about him ... he's being a stupid boy! Oh, it could also be that your cheeks are naturally rosier and he's thinking you are using really dark/bright blush. Like I said, don't worry about! :)

Keep in mind that you're going to be seen in different types of lighting and that will effect how heavy your makeup looks. I notice that when I put on my makeup for work in the morning. In my bedroom lighting it looks fine. When I get to work under the fluorescent lighting, it looks completely different (fluorescent light will make anyone look horrible)

Usually when people wear too much make-up, they never notice it and only their family will tell them...So maybe your brother just told you...or the color you had on just wasn't right.

if theres so much that you can't see your eyes thats one way. But also you have to think about how long it takes to apply your makeup if it's over 30 mins thats about the limit.
