Not only did it happen to me around the same time, but it got passed down to my son after he was born. He was a very fartty little boy.

Absolutely. Its nothing new in the world of the "miracle of birth!"
I wasn't that bad with the gas, but it was there... (and, to be blunt... I stank!) Its funny, the world paints this peaceful, beautiful image of the pregant woman and, in reality, we stink, we burp, we have heartburn, we laugh and cry at the weirdest stuff, we throw up, we can't sleep!!! But, I gotta tell you from experience... it is SO worth it. My 20 month old is my life and I love him more than I thought possible. But, be ready for an adventure that will be nothing you expected. From this point forward its a whole new ball game.
Try reading a book called
The Girlfriends Guide to Pregnancy.
This book saved my sanity. It talks openly and honestly about everything from gas to emotional instability to trying to look good in maternity clothes. I really, honestly thought I was the only one to feel a certain way until I read this book. I laughed outloud and laughed at myself too.
Good luck with the gas. Just let your partner or friend or whoevers around grab a beer and turn on the game. Get together more often with your truly testosterone filled male friends and you'll feel right at home!!! You can fart, burp, yell at the tv and even unbutton your pants if they are too tight and you'll feel right at home.
And, when that little one comes along, (after a few sleepless weeks/months) you'll be the picture of a beautiful mother with a wonderful gift in your arms.
I wish you and your little one health, happiness and good wishes.

Yes. They more then likely are. Back, Neck, and Shoulder Pains These are common side effects of pregnancy, muscles tend to ache. Slightly Sharp Stomach Pains (lower & upper) & Cramping This is the fertalized embryo implanting itself to your uterus. Uuhm, like a caterpillar looking for a good spot to cacoon into a butterfly. : ) Gas Mine were and are like little air bubbles. lol. Another common symptom of pregnancy. [Do to hormone changes, you will have gas, nausea, watery mouth, alot of discharge, headaches, feverish feeling, reaction to temperature changes] It sounds like you are pretty early on. Your pg hormone levels are barely accumulating. So that is why the tests have been coming out neg. Though more then likely don't get disappointed if the blood test comes out negative too. Because if hormone levels aren't high enough to see in your urine, they might not show in your blood yet either. If you continue to have these symptoms wait off for about another week to get an ultrasound, which will definitaly give you an accurate answer if you're far enough along (being 3-5 weeks along).

DID IT? or shall I say DOES IT? it can be embarrasing but there is very limited space in the womb and the constant motion of the baby causes us to hav every incontrolllable gas. It can be irritating but look to the bigger picture. It'll all be worth it in the end and know YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!!!!!! Good Luck!!
