Pain, swelling, dysfunction.
If you think it's broken, get it xrayed. Otherwise you may cause damage to nerves, muscles, blood vessels and other tissues.
There is also the chance for internal infection. If you get an infection and don't know it, YOU CAN DIE or loose your hand, arm, etc.
Immobilize it. Keep it elevated above your heart by resting it on a pilow or in a sling. Use ice to minimize swelling but be careful so as not to get frostbite.
I am not trying to scare you but for crying out loud, get to a Dr. If it's not broken then good but if it is they can take proper care of it. If it's broken and you wait, it could heal abnormally and then you can't do much about it.
Take care. Peace.

The signs would include pain, swelling, bruising, limited range of motion, numbness and the hand looking "blue" or having the fingers cold to touch. You should go to the nearest ER to have that checked out ASAP. Keep your hand elevated with a pillow or sling, apply an ice pack you can take some Ibuprofen or Tylenol for pain. If you an ACE bandage wrap your hand and arm ,not tightly, just enough to provide some support to the wrist etc. Take care. SW RNP

Ice, immobilization, elevation...get your arm into a sling. There is little else I can recommend unless you have some OTC anti-inflanmmatory medication. See your doctor ASAP! Those tendons and nerves around them in your wrist can be damaged, so don't try any other home remedies.
