Bio information on Kathryn Forbes (Kathryn Anderson McLean) who wrote "Mama's Bank Account"?

I can find little about her life, except that she died relatively young (58) and is buried in a Catholic cemetery near San Francisco. She must have converted?

This is not an answer but an interesting side note. A movie was made of this; it is excellent. It's called "I Remember Mama", starring Irene Dunn and Barbara Bel Geddes. I think it was made in the late 40s.
