Gargle with a lil salt and warm water , that will take down the inflamation at the back of your throat.
Make a cup of Hot tea with some honey in it, that will soothe your throat.
If it's still bothering you Monday..I would have it looked at as alot of "virus's are going around that can lead to strep throat"
Good Luck*

Here is my favorite old-time Yoga remedy called "The Lion":
sit on your knees. put your hand in front of you on the floor and lean forward. roll your eyes as far up as they will go and simultaneously thrust your tongue down towards your chest as far as it will go and roar like a lion. The roar might not really sound lion-ish, but with old-time Yoga (practiced in 1970s in Vancouver) the practice was more significant than the perfection of form. Maybe not do this in front of your baby since it would be rather scary to see your mom in this sort of contortion. Do it 2 or 3 times.
Spray your throat with salt water if that is all you have around. If you have some pure, unadulterated peppermint essential oil, that would be preferable. Just put the peppermint essential oil at the back of your tongue (a drop). Drink a drop in warm water with some stevia (vs. sugar or honey which make extra mucous). Warm (not hot or cold) drinks are quite hydrating. Put a warm, damp sock around your neck. If you have some pure, unadulterated essential oils (like peppermint or rosemary or thyme or eucalyptus) put a few drops on your neck first, and then tie the warm damp sock around as a compress. Or put a hotwater bottle on top of the essential oil drops on your neck.
all the best mummy!

Winter is the time for dry, sore throats. The only way to avoid drying out is to increase your fluid intake throughout the day. Try not to breathe through your mouth when you lay down to go to sleep. This will also dry out your throat.

Sore throat is usually due to a viral infection. Gargling with warm salty water or mouthwash really helps. You can get more details and home remedies available at http://ailments.in/sorethroat.html
