My husband tells me that I shouldn't wear make-up often because it is unnatural and the true beauty of a woman is in her real face, not the covered up and artificial one. I agree with him, BUT... I feel reall uncomfortable going to parties without foundation on and all my blemishes showing. Is there anyway I can work around wearing make-up and still feel comfortable with how I look?

Just go light on the make up sweetie. You don't have to wear a lot. Most people think I wear none at all since I go so light on mine, as far as blemishes, try a little concealer :)

wear foundation but make sure it is the right colour and type for your skin because a good foundation should look like you have no make up on at all. If you like the natural look, go with a light foundation, mascara and lip gloss. Don't think of wearing makeup as covering your natural beauty but use it to enhance what you have.

Treat yourself to a few new products. A cleanser for your kind of skin. You can get ones that you wash your face with, or some you simply apply with cotton. If you find products that are right for you skin you may notice less blemishes. Toners are nice and moisturizers give you a fresh look. Bottom line though is that you are comfortable with how you look.

Try a better skin care regime to clear up your skin...the best of both worlds. See a dermatologist or try proactive, works for my friend! Good Luck...My guess is your hubby doesn't want you to look too hot at parties, are you getting a lot of attention??? Good Luck!

use some concealer to hide your blemises, then bare minerals to enhance skin tone. Bare minerals go over lightly, and it looks sooo natural
