Because Bush is an idiot and him and his oil well buddies want to control the oil over there.
He doesn't care about people's sons and daughters getting killed over there. They are just expendable dead meat to him.
I pray my nephew doesn't get sent over there.

It was incredible mistake to go in. But we can't leave a mess that we created. We can't just walk away and let a civil war happen. Whether we like it or not we have to stay. More Americans will die in the long run if we left Iraq. The whole are would become de=stabled and instead of a piddly little war we would have a real big one with Iran probably attacking Iraq and then making a go at Saudi Arabia whose army is no match for Iran's.

The goal was cheap oil. We are not getting any oil because of the civil war. If the US pulls out, Iraq will probably split into three nations, border nations might become involved, and the US will not be getting any cheap oil. Plus, Bush will look like a total twit. And many Americans will be angry that so many young men and women were killed for no reason. So Bush has to keep the war going.

Because we have to finish what we started! If the rest of the world would help us out, instead of criticise.....
Oil is the last reason we're there. We dont buy ANY Iraqi oil. America imports its oil from Venezuela, Saudia Arabia and Nigeria.

Because the democrat cowards in congress refuse to cut the funds and force us out.
If they did so, there would be no campaign issue for the Pres race in 2008. So, hold on to your underwear a little bit longer, cause nothing is going to change between now and the next 24 months other than the democrats whine of the day.

Yes, we have not finished what we started in Iraq. When we do, we'll leave, and I'd prefer that you didn't call the President of the United States those kinds of names. Here's a tip; from now on, whenever you play football, wear a helmet. HERE'S YOUR SIGN!!!

Quote: "Because to just pull out would be to leave the Iraqi people in one helluva lurch. For better or worse, we're stuck there until some sort of stable government is set up and able to defend itself from coups"
It's not for OIL anymore. Those innocent women and Children would be just MEAT for the Iraqis. We are saving them. I feel for our soldier and their familes, but that's the chance they take when they joinn the service. President Bush is doing what he can. You think he lies in bed at night and does not think about the 20 new soldiers that dies today??? Grow up and give me a break. Ignorant People!

The oil argument is the oldest one yet. Whether you agree with the war or not, don't you see it fit that we can't just up and leave? How selfish are you? To leave now would be to let down the good Iraqi citizens that do want peace and freedom, something the terrorist groups do not want and are trying to keep us from doing.
When taking out your garbage, would you stop halfway to the bin and just drop it on the ground and go back inside? Same concept. Finish the job.

In a word, oil. Bush doesn't give a hoot about peoples lives. 20 Americans killed today, do you see him even mentioning it, no. He wants that oil. Plus he reallty enjoys being the world's biggest bully. The power trip is his drug of choice. And Scattershot Cheney, ha, he's so addicted to killing he can't get enough in just Iraq, he has to go out on weekends and kill birds too. Too bad world, sorry.
